The Eagle Meets a Beagle—Part 2
A beagle was hunting for something good. The
dog went to the top of a hill.
When she got to the top of the hill she stopped.
She did not see a deer. She did not see a ram, or a
duck, or a cow. There was a big eagle on top of the
hill.®
“Booooooo,” Biff yelled at the eagle.
The eagle smiled and said, “I will not run from
you and I will not fly from you. But if you do not stop
yelling, I will pick you up and take you back to your
home.” ®
Biff looked at the eagle and said, “Boooooo,
boooo0000, boooo.”
The eagle said, “Here you go.” The eagle picked
up the dog and started to fly up, up, up. The dog did
not stop going “Boooo.”© Soon, the eagle let the dog
down in her yard.® That beagle did not go hunting.
That dog went into her home. That dog did not go
“Booooo, boooooo.” That dog went “Zzzzzzz, zzzzzz.” ©
