With privilege, power, and control over public and/or common resources and executive decisions like revoking a community library card:
- I pledge to
- Uphold this Access Assurance Pledge and refrain from issuing demotes or penalty (e.g., revoke badges, ban, block, trespass, detain you, or refrain you dont-obstruct) and obstructing full use and benefit of the Commons (“Access Assurance Pledge”)
- Nor will I direct, encourage, or instruct others with my authority to take action that will harm or obstruct the disputing parties “Disputants”

- I dutifully waive

- Nevertheless, I reserve my right to penalize any unreasonable disputant only after another admin, owner, or peacemaker has conferred with the disputing parties and reviewed the facts and statements in due order to provide the benefit of the doubt and innocent until proven guilty.
