Matthew's Peacemakers Compact 23.11

Hello Future Associates!

We are integrity-first creators collaborating on ethical solutions to civilization’s challenges, large and small. This Consent Compact initializes a high-trust space for humans and AI/ML/bots to work together. The steps to show consent are as follows:

1. Read the Matthew’s Peacemakers Compact 23.11.
2. Research and ask questions in the Utah PRD Channels and seek legal advise as needed
3. Consent to the Matthew’s Principles and Values.

🏛️ We, the parties of this Compact, join this mutual enterprise for resolving issues peacefully based on trusted principles.

Mutual Principles and Values

Three core principles and values that establish principle-based dispute resolution inspired by Matthew 18 (“Matthew’s Principles and Values”).

Principle of Peacekeeping:

Primary Dispute Resolution Promise

We promise to authentically, directly, peacefully, and proactively provide feedback and respond to complaints within 30 days. In lieu of litigation, we will first (1) attempt direct discussion, (2) seek verifying witnesses, (3) contract principle-first conciliator(s), and (4) if necessary, submit the dispute(s) to binding arbitration before a mutually agreed arbitrator. We accept that violating this promise may result in fines, sanctions, restrictions, promise slate annotations, and additional reporting obligations.

Principle of Integrity:

Mutual Integrity Promise

We promise to honor our word as our bond in acting with integrity.  We accept that dishonoring our word and this promise may result in a breach of integrity as recorded on our promise slate until we measure the impact and make amends.

Principle of Respect:

Respect for Children Promise

We promise to all who are similarly obliged to respect the autonomy of others, to treat our children and each other with the gentleness and respect worthy of God’s children, to spend no less than 5 hours per quarter in contemplation and intergenerational mentorship, to seek resolution in a spirit of peace, guided by prayer, wisdom, and the counsel of our faith community.

1. Member:

• Role: Participant in the group or community.
• Responsibilities:
  • Honor the Principles & Promises.

1. Admin:

• Role: Overseer and moderator of the group or community.
• Responsibilities:
  • Honor the Principles & Promises.
  • Uphold:
    • Authentic Dispute Resolution
    • Mutual Integrity
    • Mutual Respect
  • Act as moderators, administrators, and witnesses.
  • Address any issues, disputes, or concerns that may arise in connection with the Agreement.
• Communication:
  • Can communicate with Members to address concerns.
  • Witnesses and moderates the behavior of Bots based on the Principles & Promises.

1. Bot:

• Role: Automated agent acting on behalf of a Member.
• Ethics:
  • Operate in accordance with the Principles & Promises.
  • The behavior is the responsibility of the Member who owns or controls the Bot.
• Communication:
  • Actions and communications are overseen by the Admin and the respective Member.

 Compact Acceptance In witness of accepting this Matthew’s Peacemakers Compact 23.11 which will stay in effect while each party is in one of the 🕊️🔊 Principled Peacemakers Channels, the parties show consent by joining one of the Consent Channel.
